Fact about the Product:
Our products are created by hand stringing the glass seeds beads size 11 using 2 drop peyote stitch technique on a steady base of hand woven rattan basketries. The rattan grows in the jungle of Borneo or Kalimantan and it is a part of the local farming of the Dayak tribe. It has been used by the people of Borneo for ages as strong materials in producing wide ranges of house wares. We have our rattan baskets are woven by the villagers of Lombok, east of Bali Island. They weave rattan baskets after finishing their farming routine as a side work to develop cash for the family. Our glass seeds beads are mostly produced in China and Japan.
It requires so much time, patience and hard work in getting a piece of basket done as every tiny seeds beads have to sew onto the entire surface of the rattan baskets.
